On the 26th of march Captain Hook and Bart Lust Quintet performed at the BIMhuis in Amsterdam.
The captain appeared at 'Vrije geluiden', a national television program on world, classical, jazz and pop music.

Captain Hook was invited by the Amsterdams Uitburo to play at the Uitmarkt 2006, the opening of the cultural season in the Netherlands.
The 19th of june the Captain played the semi-final of the Dutch Jazzcompetition at the Paradox, Tilburg.
In het december 2005-nummer van Muziekwereld, het ledenblad van de Nederlandse ToonkunstenaarsBond, krijgt Captain Hook een complimenteuze recensie naar aanleiding van hun eerste cd.
